Christmas is Coming!

In exactly 42 days, it will be Christmas Day!!! This is my favorite holiday of the year and I wanted to do something with my passion for crafting to help celebrate the holiday season.  So I decided to make Christmas cards.  I am very excited and I have come up with a couple of cards, that I would like to share with everyone.  It has been fun getting ideas for Christmas cards and even more fun making them.  Take a look at these cards:

I am really proud of how nice they came out.   To make these cards I used:

- heavyweight gold and silver cardstock

- gold and silver embossing powder that matches the paper

- Christmas stamps

Here is another one that I think is super cute:

For this one, I used:
- A blank note card
- Christmas paper
- Red Cardstock
- Rubber Christmas stamp
- Embossing powder

How to Get the Most From My Blog

Just a few days ago I started a blog because I wanted a way to showcase my handmade cards and other paper crafts.  Little did I know that there are many things you can do to get the most from your blog.  You can....

-  Have advertisements added to the blog
-  Link your blog to Facebook and Twitter
-  Have people to subscribe by e-mail
            And so much more!

I want to get as much out of this as I can, but it seems to be a bit overwhelming to me.  So many things I want and need to do, but sooooo little time.  I guess I will just have to do the best I can as I go along.  My first goal is to have my Facebook badge added to my blog.  Then, I will have to work at getting people to follow my blog.  It will also be great to have a place where people can subscribe to it too via e-mail.  

Well, there is much work to be done and I am ready to do it! Be on the lookout for the first of many wonderful, Creative Cards by Christian.

I'M SO EXCITED!!!!!

In The Beginning.....

In the beginning, God created the Heavens and Earth and then He created me! A young woman who loves to make cards and enjoys paper crafting sooooooo much that she wants to make it a full time gig.  Look at her, she's dancing a jig!

I am very passionate about this and have been doing all I can, to carry out this master plan.   I intend to use my degree in Marketing and my paper passion, to design a grand business in this fashion.  My hope and my prayer today, is that I am doing everything God's way.

With that being said, I welcome all advice.  Any resources to help me out would sure be nice  So come one, come all and journey with me as I aspire to become all that I can be!
